Denver Harbor Tire was started in the backyard of an immigrants home.
The immigrant’s name was Pete Garcia, The year was 1968. By 1978 he had his
own store located at 6903 Lyons Ave and business was booming. His business was well known in the community and by his peers. In 1986 a bad economy and an ugly divorce took a toll on Pete’s business and was forced to file for bankruptcy. That same year he suddenly passed away and Denver Harbor Tire closed down. Pete left behind four sons. They were hardworking and determined to continue what their father had started. At the age of 21, Rick Garcia began planning on reopening Denver Harbor Tire. The whole company was modeled after his father’s company, but because of bankruptcy laws, the same name could not be used. On April 1 , 1987, Rick and his brother Mauricio Garcia, age 19, opened D.H. Tire Inc. D.H. Tire Inc a family owned and operated company, is a
full tire service and sales provider for the retail and commercial sector. D.H. Tire Inc.
has grown into one of the largest used OTR tire providers in Texas. By putting our
clients needs first, we strive to establish long term personal relationships built upon our clients trust in providing for their needs. D.H. Tire Inc. operates it’s fleet of 25 service trucks, each with it’s own trained tire technician. We have a complete selection of new and used tires in a variety of brands in all types and sizes.
